Definition of Prototype

The fourth step of Design Thinking aims at:

  • Developing a prototype of the ideas and solutions identified in the previous stage
  • Exploring opportunities, learning, and iterating quickly

The “Prototype” stage in Design Thinking means:

  • Turning ideas and solutions into something physically tangible
  • Experiencing and interacting with prototypes to learn fast and implement solutions
  • Achieving deeper empathy
  • Expanding the space for exploration
